Dear Heard Friends and Family,

In order to get off the ground and maintain a successful Makerspace for students to build, create, learn, and discover, we need the support of our parents and community.  Our vision is to create a place where kids participate in take-apart stations, design & engineering challenges, visual arts, computer design, and robotics.  We also plan to include non-traditional furniture items such as beanbag chairs, marker-board table tops, and standing desks/drafting tables.

We believe that a true Makerspace is a must-have in order to provide a STEAM experience for our children.  This requires a number of consumable items that we’d like to ask for your help with. If you are able to donate to this cause, please contact the office or communicate with your child’s teacher.  The items below are commonly used, but you don’t have to limit yourself to what you see here.

Thank you for your support of Heard Magnet!
